We’re Connor & Georgina, full-time sweet tooths with a love of travel. In September 2025 we quit our corporate jobs in Marketing & Market Research to follow our hearts and explore the world, uncovering what different destinations have to offer in the dessert department.

Georgina
Hey there, I’m Georgina (or Gee, Gina, Georgie) and like my variety of nick-names, I’m a bit of a mixed plate: Greek-English by heritage, Cornish by heart, Londoner by choice.
I love baking, so naturally writing about sweet treats takes my indulgence beyond the kitchen (and perhaps it’ll last longer than the cakes do when Connor is lurking near the kitchen!).
My favourite desserts:
- Chocolate cake (no judgement, it’s a classic)
- Almond and cherry slab cake (specifically Blake’s Bakery)
- and of course the very British sticky toffee pudding.

Hello, I’m Connor – a small, skinny boy from Leeds. Despite being Yorkshire-till-I-die, I betrayed my roots and moved down to London in 2020, where I met Georgina.
My relationship with sweets, desserts, pudding – or whatever you want to call it – would be described as unhealthy. But in a good way, I think.
I did intend this blog to be about travel and pub sports, but I’m hardly complaining about eating my way across the globe.
My favourite desserts:
- Parkin (a Yorkshire staple)
- Sticky toffee pudding
- Rum baba
- and my favourite: the cheese board.
Some might say it’s a starter – I beg to differ.
